To mark the 50th anniversary of Hannah Arendt's death, Literarisches Colloquium Berlin is hosting a panel discussion with general editor Eva Geulen and author Julia Franck, as well as a screening of Christian Bettges' film portrait "Hannah Arendt – eine Jüdin im Pariser Exil"
The panel discussion will look at the "…echo chambers of Hannah Arendt today…". It is followed at 08:30 p.m. by a screening of Christian Bettges’ film portrait “Hannah Arendt – eine Jüdin im Pariser Exil” (ARTE/ZDF, 2025, 52 min.). Entry for the film screening is free. Tickets for the discussion cost €9 / €5 and are available on the website of Literarisches Colloquium Berlin and at the box office.

Prof. Dr. Eva Geulen is one of the general editors of the Critical Edition and Co-editor of the work complex Shorter Writings I, which will be published next year as volume 4.1 of the edition by Wallstein Verlag.
