This special issue gathers reflections on Arendt, Nietzsche and the breach in tradition, as well as studies of Arendt, Nietzsche and the politics of the history of ideas. Besides editors Harald Bluhm and Grit Straßenberger, three additional members of the editorial team, Jürgen Förster, Marcus Llanque and Rieke Trimcev, contributed to this issue. Several of the articles are available in open access.

Prof. Dr. Harald Bluhm holds the Seniorprofessur für Politische Theorie und Ideengeschichte at Martin Luther University Halle-Wittenberg and is Co-editor of the work complex Between Past and Future of the Critical Edition. Prof. Dr. Grit Straßenberger, Lehrstuhl für Politische Theorie und Ideengeschichte at the University of Bonn, is also Co-editor of Between Past and Future
